Egg and Bacon Sandwich


 Ingredients:

4 slices of crispy bacon
2 large eggs
2 slices of bread or 1 sandwich roll
1 tbsp butter (for toasting bread)
1 slice of cheddar cheese (optional)
 1-2 lettuce leaves (optional)
2 slices of tomato (optional)
Pinch of salt
Pinch of black pepper
Dash of hot sauce (optional)


Instructions:

Cook the bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lay the bacon slices flat in the pan and cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on a paper towel. 
Prepare the eggs: In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook to your preference:
Sunny-side-up for a gooey yolk.
Scrambled for a softer texture.
Season with salt and pepper.
Toast the bread: Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Toast in a clean skillet or toaster until golden brown. 
Assemble the sandwich:
Layer the lettuce and tomato slices (if using) on one slice of bread.
