Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 medium onion, diced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 package refrigerated pizza dough
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil for brushing
Instructions:
Cook the ground beef: In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat.
Drain any excess fat, then stir in the diced onion, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 more minutes until well combined.
Add the bacon & cheese: Stir in crumbled bacon and the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Remove from heat and set the mixture aside.
Prepare the dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into squares (about 6-8 pieces).
Form the pockets: Spoon the beef and cheese mixture into the center of each dough square. Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket, pressing the edges with a fork to seal them shut.
Bake: Arrange the filled pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with olive oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve & devour: These ooey-gooey bacon cheeseburger pizza pockets are a hit for any meal – deliciously cheesy and oh-so-satisfying!
