Ingredients:½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
½ lb lump crab meat
4 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup all-purpose flour
3 cups seafood or chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
½ teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until softened and fragrant.

Stir in the flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.

Gradually pour in the broth, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens. Add the heavy cream, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Stir in the shrimp and crab meat. Let the bisque cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm with crusty bread.
