I spent the day making Genile his MawMaw Hamrick’s chocolate pies—a recipe that holds so many sweet memories. A special thank you to Aunt Nancy for sharing it with me. I can only pray mine tastes as close to yours and Mrs. Hamrick’s as possible. Some recipes are more than dessert—they’re love passed down through generations.
