Smothered Pork Chops

Ingredients:
4 bone-in pork chops
Salt and black pepper
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 large onion, sliced
2 cups chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:
Season pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook for 5-6 minutes until softened and lightly browned.
Sprinkle any remaining flour over the onions and stir for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to a simmer, then return pork chops to the skillet. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until pork chops are tender and cooked through.
Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes until gravy thickens.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
