INGREDIENTS:
10-12 shrimp, tail off & deveined (season with one tsp Ashley Seafood Secret & olive oil)
1 lb smoked sausage (cut in 1/2 in pieces)
1/2 cup onions, sliced
1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced
1 cup thinly sliced cabbage
1/2 cup matchstick carrots
1 cup broccoli florets
Oil
5 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Paprika
Parsley
1/2 tsp brown sugar
Dash of hot sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
Squeeze half a lemon
DIRECTION:
Over medium high heat add a little oil to your pan and cook shrimp on each side approximately 2 minutes. Remove from pan and add in sausage. Cook until browned and put aside.
Add a little more oil if needed and add in onions, peppers and cabbage. Cook approximately 4-5 minutes until vegetables are softened, stirring occasionally. Add in broccoli and cook 3 minutes before adding in carrots. Cook another minute or so.
In a saucepan pan over medium heat melt butter and add in paprika, brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, salt, cayenne, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper flakes and parsley. Squeeze juice if half a lemon. Add butter sauce, shrimp & sausages to veggie mixture and enjoy
