Cherry Pie Iced Tea: A Refreshing Summer Sip Inspired by Dessert
Ingredients:
* 1 cup frozen pitted cherries

cup granulated sugar
* ΒΌ cup water
* Pinch of salt
* 1 teaspoon lemon juice
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 teaspoon butter extract
* Β½ teaspoon cake batter extract (optional)
* 2 cups Gold Peak Unsweetened Black Tea
* 4 tablespoons cherry pie syrup
* Fresh cherries for garnish

Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine frozen cherries, sugar, water, and salt. Heat over medium, mashing cherries as they soften.
2. Cook until the liquid thickens slightly. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl, pressing to release all juice; discard solids.
3. While still warm, stir in lemon juice, vanilla extract, butter extract, and optional cake batter extract. Let the syrup cool completely.
4. In a clear glass pitcher, mix the cherry pie syrup with cold black tea.
5. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh cherries.
