Instructions:
1. Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.
2. Add the Onion: Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
3. Season the Beef: Stir in the taco seasoning and water (and salsa or tomato sauce, if using). Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced and the mixture has thickened.
4. Warm the Tortillas: Warm the tortillas according to package directions. You can do this in a microwave (wrapped in a damp paper towel), in a dry skillet, or in the oven (wrapped in foil).
5. Assemble the Wraps: Lay out a tortilla. Spoon a portion of the ground beef filling down the center. Add your desired toppings.
6. Wrap the Tortillas: Fold in the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll up from the bottom to create a wrap.
7. Serve: Serve the wraps immediately.
