Soft cinnamon roll dough wrapped around a sweet cream cheese filling, dipped in custard, pan-fried to golden perfection, and drizzled with glaze. Perfect for brunch or dessert!
Ingredients
For the Roll-Ups:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Custard Dip:
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
For Cooking & Topping:
2 tbsp butter
Cinnamon sugar (1/4 cup sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon)
Drizzle of glaze from the cinnamon rolls can (or homemade powdered sugar glaze)

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Filling
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls
Unroll the cinnamon rolls and carefully flatten them slightly.
Spread a thin layer of cream cheese filling over each roll.
Roll them back up tightly.
Step 3: Make the Custard
In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
Step 4: Dip & Cook
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Dip each roll-up into the custard, coating all sides.
Place in skillet and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 5: Finish & Serve
Roll the cooked French toast roll-ups in cinnamon sugar while warm.
Drizzle with icing or glaze.
Serve immediately with fresh fruit or syrup if desired.
