Ingredients
1 large onion
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
Cooking spray

Instructions
Cut off the top of the onion and peel it. Place it flat-side down and make 8–12 cuts from top to bottom, stopping ½ inch from the base. Gently spread the petals apart.
In one bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk.
Turn the onion upside-down and coat it thoroughly in the flour mixture. Shake off excess.
Dip into the egg mixture, making sure it gets between the petals.
Coat again in the flour mixture.
Place the onion on foil in the air fryer. Spray well with cooking spray.
Air fry at 350°F (177°C) for 20–25 minutes, until crispy and golden.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
