Honey Butter Crispy Chicken

Ingredients:

500g chicken (boneless thighs or breast)

1 cup flour

1/2 cup cornstarch

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

Oil for frying

For the Honey Butter Sauce:

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 cloves garlic (minced)

Prepare the chicken:

Cut chicken into medium pieces.

Make the batter:

In a bowl, mix eggs and milk.

In another bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Coat the chicken:

Dip chicken in the wet mixture, then coat in the dry mixture.

Fry:

Heat oil and fry the chicken until golden and crispy (about 5–7 minutes).

Remove and let it rest on paper towels.

Make the sauce:

In a pan, melt butter, add garlic, honey, soy sauce, and sugar.

Cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly thick.

Combine:

Add the crispy chicken to the sauce and mix well.
