Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Roll Out the Dough:
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 10 x 14 inches.
Assemble the Stromboli:
Spread a thin layer of marinara or pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
Layer the deli meats evenly over the sauce, then sprinkle with mozzarella and provolone cheese. Add Italian seasoning over the filling.
Roll and Seal:
Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, tucking in the edges as you go.
Pinch the seam to seal the dough, then place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush with Egg Wash and Bake:
Brush the top of the stromboli with beaten egg and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
Cool and Serve:
Let the stromboli cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
