Apple Caramel Bombs

INGREDIENTS:
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
8 caramel candies
1 tbsp butter + 2 tbsp melted butter
2 medium apples, finely chopped
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Optional Topping:
Caramel sauce (drizzle)
Crushed peanuts

DIRECTIONS:
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon & salt. Cook approximately 5 min until softened. Cool slightly.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Separate biscuit dough into rounds. Fill each dough round with 1 tosp apple filling + 1 caramel candy. Pinch edges closed to seal.
Arrange in greased baking dish. Brush tops with melted butter. Bake 30-35 min until golden.

Drizzle with caramel sauce, sprinkle peanuts, and serve warm.
