Instructions:
1. First things first, let’s get those noodles cookin’. Boil a pot of water and cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. While the noodles are cooking, let’s marinate that beef! In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Mix it all up and let it sit for about 15 minutes. This will help tenderize the meat and pack in the flavor.
3. Heat up a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil. Once it’s nice and hot, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until it’s fragrant.
4. Now, add the marinated beef to the skillet. Stir-fry it for about 3-4 minutes until it’s browned and cooked through. Don’t overcrowd the pan; you want that beef to sear nicely!
5. Next, toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they’re bright green and tender-crisp.
6. Pour in the beef broth (or water) and give everything a good stir. Let it simmer for a minute to combine those flavors.
7. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until the noodles are well coated in that delicious sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions. Dig in and enjoy this hearty
