1. Prepare the Cube Steaks: Season cube steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Dredge each steak in flour, shaking off any excess.
2. Cook the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook steaks for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Gravy: In the same skillet, add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits. Add the cornstarch slurry and stir until the gravy thickens. Return steaks to the skillet, cover, and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
4. Mashed Potatoes: Boil chopped potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, milk, and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Green Beans: Steam green beans for 5 minutes, then sauté in a pan with butter and minced garlic for an additional 2-3 minutes.
6. Serve: Plate each steak topped with brown gravy, a side of creamy mashed potatoes, and garlicky green beans.
