1 can (28 oz) whole tomatoes with juice
2 cans (10 oz each) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 whole jalapeño, quartered and thinly sliced
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 cup chopped cilantro (adjust to taste)
Juice of 1/2 lime

In a large bowl, combine the whole tomatoes with their juice and the Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies.
Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced jalapeño.
Sprinkle in the sugar, salt, and ground cumin, then stir until everything is well combined.
