Ingredients:
8 slices sourdough bread, fresh and crusty
8 slices thick-cut bacon
2 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
4โ6 crisp lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce)
4 tbsp mayonnaise (Dukeโs or your favorite)
1 tbsp butter (optional, for toasting bread)
Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:
Cook the Bacon
