CINNAMON SUGAR ROASTED PECANS

Ingredients:
1 lb. pecan halves
1 egg white
1 tbsp vanilla extract (or water)
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp warm maple syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
¾ tsp salt
1.5 tsp cinnamon (or to taste)
A bit of fresh grated nutmeg
A dash or two of cardamon
A dash of two of ground ginger

Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 250⁰F
Whisk egg white and vanilla extract until frothy.
Toss with pecan halves.
Drizzle on melted butter and maple syrup.
Toss well to ensure each pecan halve is coated.
MIX together sugar, salt, and spices.
Toss sugar mixture with pecans.

Spread on a cookie sheet that’s been sprayed with baking spray.

Bake in oven 1 hour, tossing pecans every 15 minutes.

Cool on baking tray. Then, store in airtight container.
