Country Fried Steak with Cream Gravy

Ingredients
For the steak:
4 cube steaks
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
Oil for frying
For the cream gravy:
3 tablespoons pan drippings
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
In another bowl, whisk eggs and buttermilk.
Dredge cube steaks in the seasoned flour, then dip in egg mixture, then back into the flour.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry steaks 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and keep warm.
For the gravy, keep 3 tablespoons of drippings in the pan and whisk in flour. Cook 1 minute.
Slowly pour in milk while whisking until smooth and thickened.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve steaks smothered in warm cream gravy.
