Ingredients
For the Herb Rice
1 cup long-grain rice (jasmine or basmati works great)
2 cups chicken broth (or water with 1 tsp chicken bouillon)
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

Β Instructions
1. Make the Herb Rice
1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add rice and stir for 1 minute to lightly toast.
3. Pour in chicken broth, garlic powder, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.
4. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15 minutes (or until liquid is absorbed).
