Oven-Baked Golden Chicken Wings with a Crispy Finish
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs chicken wings, separated at joints, tips removed
1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Optional: your favorite wing sauce or dipping sauce

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly grease the rack.
Pat the chicken wings dry thoroughly with paper towels. Moisture is the enemy of crispiness!
In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack, skin side up.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are golden brown and crispy.
Serve as is or toss in your favorite wing sauce immediately after baking.
