Ingredients:
– 1 lb ground beef
– 4 jalapeños, sliced
– 8 slices of bacon
– 4 slices of cheddar cheese
– 4 hamburger buns
– 1/2 cup ranch dressing
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Olive oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
2. Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and form into thin patties.
3. Season the patties with salt and pepper.
4. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on 4 of the patties.
5. Top each cheese-topped patty with another plain patty to create double-decker burgers.
6. Grill the burgers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
7. While the burgers are cooking, cook the bacon in a separate pan until crispy.
8. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
9. In the same pan, sauté the jalapeño slices in a little bit of olive oil until softened.
10. Assemble the burgers by placing a double-decker patty on the bottom half of each bun.
11. Top each patty with sautéed jalapeños and crispy bacon.
12. Drizzle ranch dressing over the top of the jalapeños and bacon.
