Prepare the Batter:
In a mixing bowl, beat 3 eggs at room temperature until foamy. Gradually add 75 grams of sugar and 8 grams of vanilla sugar, continuing to beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Sift in 150 grams of flour and 10 grams of baking powder. Mix gently until well combined.

Add 100 grams of melted butter and mix until smooth.
Prepare the Apples:
Peel and cut 3 apples into 3 cm sized pieces. Set aside.

Assemble the Cake:
Line a 19 cm baking pan with parchment paper and grease it.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Arrange the apple pieces evenly on top of the batter.

Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of sugar and a generous amount of cinnamon over the apples.
Bake the Cake:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Bake the cake for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

After baking, run a knife around the edge of the cake to detach it from the pan. Turn the cake onto a plate.
Create the Golden Crust:
Place the cake back onto a baking pan and switch your oven to the grill function. Grill the cake for an additional 3 minutes to achieve a golden crust.
