Ingredients:
– 1lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed
– 1/2 box spaghetti noodles (adjust for your family size)
– 6 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup butter
– 3 drizzles olive oil
-1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning, to taste
– Red pepper flakes, to taste
– 1 tsp Salt, to taste
– 1/8 tsp ground pepper, to taste
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp onion powder
– Fresh or dried herbs, to taste (parsley or basil recommended)
– 12oz can of crushed tomatoes

Instructions:
– Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, following package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. Set the cooked pasta aside.
– While the pasta is boiling, rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
-Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1/4 cup butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes until they turn pink and curl slightly. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
– Drizzle olive oil over the shrimp and stir to coat. Add the crushed tomatoes. Season with Italian seasoning, black pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder and salt to taste.
– Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the shrimp. Gradually add the reserved pasta water,
stirring until the mixture is moist but not overly saucy. Toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through.
– Transfer the pasta to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh herbs such as parsley.
