2 1/4 cups warm water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
5 1/2 – 6 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for greasing the bowl)
2 tablespoons butter, melted (for brushing)

Directions:

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down dough and divide into two equal portions. Shape into loaves and place in greased 9×5-inch loaf pans.
Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
