Chicken pieces (your favorite cuts)
Honey
Hot sauce

For the Mac & Cheese:
Elbow macaroni
Buttermilk
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Butter

Directions:
Marinate the chicken by mixing honey, hot sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Toss the chicken to coat and cover for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep pan until hot. Fry the marinated chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, turning as needed. Drain on a rack or paper towels.
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, whisking constantly. Slowly add milk, whisking until thick and smooth.
Season with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, then add cooked macaroni and buttermilk. Mix until creamy and cheesy.
Serve the hot fried chicken alongside a generous scoop of buttermilk mac and cheese.
