Instructions
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the ham, cut side down, on a roasting rack inside a large baking pan lined with foil. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern using a sharp knife, and if desired, stud each diamond with a whole clove.
In a small saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes smooth. Add ground cloves, cinnamon, and black pepper, then remove from heat.
Brush the ham generously with half of the glaze, covering the entire surface. Tent loosely with foil and bake for 1½ hours.
Remove the foil, brush with the remaining glaze, and increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Continue baking for another 20–30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes, until the ham is caramelized and glossy.
Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with the sweet glaze drizzled over the top.
