Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie Cheesecake

Ingredients

1 box (or mix) walnut brownie mix (prepared according to package)

24 oz cream cheese, softened (3 blocks)

¾ cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted or small)

1 cup heavy whipping cream

½ cup powdered sugar

Chocolate fudge sauce, to drizzle

Optional: whipped cream, nuts, cherries for topping

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan (or similar) and line bottom with parchment paper if desired.

Prepare the brownie mix and pour half into the bottom of the pan, spreading evenly.

In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer. Sprinkle melted chocolate chips (or chocolate bits) on top.

Bake for ~35–45 minutes, or until the center is just set (a little jiggle is okay).

 

Meanwhile, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar to stiff peaks.

After cake cools, spread whipped cream layer on top, then drizzle plenty of fudge sauce. Add nuts, cherries, or other toppings.

Chill for several hours or overnight before slicing for clean cuts.
