Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

½ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)

2 eggs

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp salt

1 cup raisins

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Grease and line a square baking pan.

2️⃣ Mix wet ingredients:

In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light.

Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix well.

3️⃣ Add dry ingredients:

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.

4️⃣ Add raisins:

Lightly coat raisins with a little flour (so they don’t sink), then fold into the batter.

5️⃣ Bake:

Pour into the pan and bake for 30–40 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

6️⃣ Cool & slice:

Let cool before cutting into squares.
