Slow Cooker Maple Glazed Ham

This is my Slow Cooker Cola Ham with a honey and mustard glaze, the perfect showstopper for Boxing Day, its so easy to make and goes down a treat if you’re cooking for a large crowd. Hassle free cooking at its best, lets go:
Ingredients: Serves 6-7 (378 calories and 45g protein per serving)
Glaze:
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp dijon
1 tbsp brown sugar
10 cloves
Ham:
1.3kg unsmoked gammon
1 carrot
1 onion
2 bay leaves
2-3 cloves
1.7L Coke Cola (full fat)

Method:
– Place the ham, carrot, onion, bay leaves, 2-3 cloves and Coke Cola into slow cooker, cook for 4 hours on high or 8 on low.
– Next make the glaze mixture, mixing together the honey, dijon and brown sugar together. Remove the ham from the slow cooker, score the fat all over in a criss cross pattern then pour that delicious glaze mixture all over the ham leaving 1-2 tbsp to drizzle over at the end.
– Press the remaining 10 cloves into the criss cross diamonds fat section of the ham and then place in an oven at 180c for 20 minutes until nicely coloured.
– Remove from the oven drizzle the rest of the glaze on top and enjoy.
