Ingredients:

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon instant yeast

1 cup warm milk

½ cup warm water (adjust if needed)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil or melted butter

Instructions:

Mix the dough:

In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.

Add warm milk, warm water, and oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.

Knead:

Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

First rise:

Cover and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Shape:

Divide the dough into equal balls (about 6–8).

Roll each ball into a round flat disc (medium thickness).

Cook:

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Cook each flatbread for about 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown spots appear.

Cover with a clean towel after cooking to keep them soft.
