Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
For the sauce:
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (for thickening)

Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
Make the meatballs: In a bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parsley. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs: Bake for 18β20 minutes until fully cooked.
Make the sauce: In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
Thicken the sauce: Stir in the cornstarch-water mix. Simmer for 1β2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Coat the meatballs: Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
Serve and enjoy: Great with rice, noodles, or as an appetizer!
