Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg
1/4 cup milk
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Gravy:
2 tbsp butter
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Make the Meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add a little oil and brown the meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Prepare the Gravy: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Gradually add beef broth while whisking to prevent lumps. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Return the meatballs to the skillet. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until meatballs are fully cooked and gravy thickens.
Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles, and enjoy!
