Ingredients:
Crust:
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
⅓ cup melted butter
¼ cup granulated sugar
Custard:
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup granulated sugar
5 large egg yolks
¼ cup cornstarch
2 tsp vanilla extract
Topping:
Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions:
1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into a lined 9×9-inch pan. Chill.
2. Heat milk, cream, and half the sugar in a saucepan until hot but not boiling.
3. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, remaining sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
4. Slowly add hot milk mixture to yolks, whisking constantly. Return to saucepan and cook until thick.
5. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Pour over crust, smooth top, and chill until set.
6. Top with whipped cream if desired, cut into squares, and serve.
